We are seeking a driven and results-oriented General Manager to run a growing, diversified manufacturing facility. In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee all aspects of operations, from strategic planning and team development to ensuring on-time delivery and exceeding customer expectations.

 

What You’ll Forge:

  • Operational Excellence: Optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced job-shop environment.
  • Customer Focus: Build strong customer relationships, understand their unique needs, and deliver high-quality metal fabrication solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
  • Financial Acumen: Drive profitable top-line growth.
  • Strategic Vision: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance our market position, expand our capabilities, and position the company for long-term success.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in metal fabrication and machining, with a strong preference for job shop environments.
  • 1+ years of successful experience in an Executive Leadership role within manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in developing and implementing large-scale change initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • A hands-on approach with a deep understanding of metal fabrication processes and technologies.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Organizational transformation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish work through others, including leading project teams.
  • Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders.
  • Is a Doer, Developer, and Executor!
  • A strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices within a manufacturing environment.
